Which health insurance for 2023?

CZ at least no longer..... Been a loyal CZ customer until 2019 for as long as I can remember. After a broadcast of Lubach, the CZ group (read also OHRA and Nationale Nederlanden) has decided, for a reason unknown to me, not to reimburse a number of alternative therapies, including orthomolecular, from the supplementary package. Fortunately, many insurance companies still do. Are you in solidarity with orthomolecular medicine and do you also withdraw your trust in the CZ and consorts let them know why.

What is important with basic insurance? Both natura insurance and restitution insurance work on the basis of contracted care. The restitution insurer often has more healthcare providers contracted. In addition, the reimbursement for non-contracted healthcare providers is different. Do you go with a natura insurance to a non-contracted care provider? Then you will not get your entire bill reimbursed. You will receive a percentage of the market amount. If you go to a non-contracted care provider with a restitution insurance, you will be reimbursed the market amount in full. So with both insurances it is important to check carefully whether your health care provider is contracted. With natura insurance, the consequences of going to a non-contracted health care provider are only greater. My preference is for restitution insurance because then I can choose my own doctor and hospital.

What is important about supplemental insurance? Patients who use non-regular medicine generally make less use of regular medicine. Some health insurance companies pass on this cut so that they can offer an interesting supplementary package. Sometimes it can even be more interesting to take out the basic package with another insurance company as the supplementary package. If you take out a supplementary package because you want to use orthomolecular medicine care, make sure you make the right choice.

Fewer and fewer people take out supplementary insurance. And the people who do, often make maximum use of it. As a result, health insurance companies are spending more and more money on it. To do something about it, they increase the premium or limit reimbursement. All the more important that practitioners can boast of a solid quality mark such as the MBOG or AVIG Membership.

Clients and patients know they are in good hands with MBOG and AVIG experts, with up to date scientific knowledge, with broadly applicable disciplines such as PNI, DNA testing, lifestyle nutrition medicine, biomedical knowledge at the cellular level with the goal of advising and supporting you towards a lifetime of health.

In late November each year, the new health care premiums are announced for the following year, as well as the (changes in) coverage and reimbursements.
